TC-5901C Pneumatic RF Shield Box

SKU: TC-5901C Categories: , ,

Description

The TC-5901C Pneumatic RF Shield Box is designed for automated wireless device testing in production and laboratory environments. This pneumatic RF shielded enclosure delivers high RF shielding performance while maintaining consistent lid pressure during every test cycle.

Because controlled RF isolation is essential in modern manufacturing, the TC-5901C Pneumatic RF Shield Box helps eliminate outside signal interference. As a result, engineers can validate Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular, and IoT devices with improved accuracy and repeatability.

High RF Shielding with Pneumatic Control

This pneumatic enclosure features automated lid open and close operation. In addition, optional pneumatic outputs allow control of custom test fixtures. Dual pressure control ensures proper sealing, while the Lid Down Sensor confirms safe operation before testing begins.

Furthermore, EMI filters are installed on all data and DC lines. These filters reduce signal noise and protect measurement integrity. The enclosure also includes RS-232C remote control for seamless integration into automated production systems.

Its modular I/O design allows customization of RF connectors and data interfaces. Therefore, the system adapts easily to various validation and manufacturing requirements.

Typical RF Shielding

TC-5901C Pneumatic RF Shield Box Typical RF Shielding

The shielding effectiveness below is measured when the blank panel is mounted; other I/O interface panel results a different shielding effectiveness of the shield box.

Frequency Shielding effectiveness (dB)
100 to 2000 MHz > 70 dB
2000 to 3000 MHz > 60 dB
3000 to 6000 MHz > 70 5B
  • Each shielding effectiveness is measured when each I/O interface panel, which is shown above, is mounted.
  • Above data was measured by Tescom, The Shielding Effectiveness might be different based on the measuring method and condition.
  • This data has been measured under the condition that the cables are not connected to each filters. When the cables are connected it can affect the shielding performance.
