STE6000 Shielded Test Enclosure

Description

The STE6000 Shielded Test Enclosure provides strong RF isolation for wireless device testing. It creates a controlled space that blocks outside signals and prevents signal leakage during testing. Because wireless environments are crowded, reliable isolation helps teams get accurate results.

In addition, the STE6000 serves as a blank platform that teams can customize to meet specific testing needs. Our engineering team works directly with customers to design each enclosure for its intended use. As a result, every unit supports the required I/O layout, cooling setup, and performance goals.

Designed for Wireless Testing

The STE6000 Shielded Test Enclosure supports many wireless standards. For example, it works well for:

  • Wi-Fi 4, 5, 6, and 6E (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax)

  • Bluetooth

  • RFID

  • 3G, 4G, and 5G testing

  • General wireless device validation

Because the enclosure allows full customization, teams can adjust it to fit lab testing or high-volume production. Therefore, it supports both early development and final product checks.

Standard Features Included

The STE6000 includes the following features:

  • 6-outlet 120VAC power strip

  • 6-pole filtered terminal block feedthrough

  • RF-tight viewing window

  • (2) Ultra High Isolation Flexible Gloves – Gen-3

  • Universal I/O connector interface plate

  • Top-loading swing-away door

  • Double-lip RF-tight gasket

  • RF absorbent foam liner

  • Dual ventilation system (passive standard)

Furthermore, customers can add optional upgrades, such as:

  • 12V DC, 115VAC, or 230VAC fan cooling

  • Reflection loss upgrades

  • Security locking latch

  • Custom I/O panel layouts

Cooling and Airflow

The enclosure includes a 120mm passive ventilation system. However, some devices generate more heat. In those cases, optional fan systems improve airflow. As a result, devices stay within safe operating limits during long test sessions.

Custom I/O Panel Design

We machine each I/O panel to match the customer’s configuration. Therefore, teams receive a ready-to-use enclosure without delays. At the same time, this approach keeps the layout clean and easy to manage.

Because testing needs change over time, the STE6000 supports flexible upgrades and reconfiguration.

Typical Applications

  • WLAN and wireless module testing

  • Secure RF isolation environments

  • Production line testing

  • Lab-based RF validation

Ultimately, the STE6000 Shielded Test Enclosure delivers reliable RF isolation, flexible design options, and stable performance for modern wireless testing.
