TC-5916APU-01 RF Shield Box Overview
Introducing the TC-5916APU-01 Shield Box, an upgraded version of the proven TC-5916AU series. This model adds an additional side I/O plate, which increases flexibility for modern test setups. At the same time, it delivers enhanced RF shielding performance up to 12 GHz. Therefore, it is well suited for advanced high-frequency wireless testing.
Designed for High-Frequency OTA Testing
The TC-5916APU-01 is designed specifically for Over-The-Air (OTA) testing. Its pneumatic design allows smooth and reliable lid operation. In addition, the enclosure provides strong isolation for accurate measurements.
Inside the chamber, the walls are lined with proprietary multi-layer RF absorber material. A ferrite absorber layer further improves performance. As a result, internal reflections are minimized. This creates a stable and repeatable environment for testing your Device Under Test (DUT).
Improved Measurement Accuracy and Stability
OTA testing requires precise control of the test environment. For this reason, the TC-5916APU-01 isolates the DUT from outside interference. Moreover, it reduces multipath effects that can distort results.
Environmental noise and reflections often reduce accuracy. However, the integrated RF absorbers address these issues directly. Consequently, engineers achieve more consistent and reliable OTA measurements.
Flexible Test Configuration Options
To enhance testing flexibility, the enclosure supports grid fixtures and antenna couplers. These accessories help position the DUT correctly and improve repeatability. In addition, they simplify setup for a wide range of device sizes.
