The New TESCOM TC-5830APU Pneumatic Shield Box is the Pneumatic version of the TC-5830AU. The TC-5830APU Pneumatic Shield Box version provides excellent reliable RF Shielding up to 12GHz as well as high level of audio isolation for your acoustic testing of your audio devices. The pneumatic version, TC-5830APU shares the same high quality features of the TC-5830AU but with the pneumatics feature. Now provides improved shielding for RF and Audio to meet the higher frequency testing demands of wireless audio technology devices. This Faraday cage is designed for OTA testing as all the interior walls are lined with highly absorbent RF and Acoustic Absorber along with a layer of ferrite absorber to minimize any reflections when performing RF Over-the-Air (OTA) or audio testing. Add one of our grid fixtures and antenna couplers to make the TC-5830APU RF Shield Box an ideal OTA test solution for any wireless audio DUT(Device-Under-Test).

Typical RF Shielding
Typical RF Shielding
The shield effectiveness below is measured when the blank panel is mounted; other I/O interface panel results a different shielding effectiveness of the shield box.
- .1 to 2 GHz > 70 dB
- 2 to 3 GHz > 70 dB
- 3 to 6 GHz > 70 dB
***Isolation example above is based on I/O configuration as specified above. Isolation may be higher or lower based on specific I/O configuration installed.
