Description
The STE4491M RF Shield Box provides a large, controlled environment for wireless device testing. Its 20RU design supports installation in a standard 19-inch rack system. Users can also operate the enclosure as a standalone RF testing solution.
The STE4491M provides high RF isolation to help reduce outside interference. This controlled environment helps engineers achieve consistent and repeatable RF test results.
A front-loading swing-away door provides convenient access to the device under test. The enclosure also uses a double-lip RF-tight gasket to help maintain shielding performance when closed.
The STE4491M includes 3/4-inch RF absorbent foam inside the test chamber. This material helps control RF energy and internal reflections during testing.
STE4491M RF Shield Box for Rack-Mounted Testing
The STE4491M RF Shield Box includes brackets for mounting into a standard 19-inch rack system. Its large internal chamber provides space for wireless devices, fixtures, and supporting test equipment.
A 120 mm honeycomb passive ventilation system supports airflow during operation. Optional fan configurations provide additional cooling when an application requires increased airflow.
The STE4491M starts as a blank enclosure that engineers can customize around specific testing requirements. This flexibility makes it suitable for many laboratory, engineering, and production environments.
The enclosure supports a wide range of wireless technologies. Applications include Wi-Fi 4, Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth, RFID, 3G, 4G, and 5G testing.
Engineers can use the STE4491M for wireless product development, device validation, RF troubleshooting, performance testing, and manufacturing applications.
Its combination of high RF isolation, rack-mount capability, large internal test space, RF absorbent material, ventilation, and customizable configuration provides a flexible platform for wireless testing.
