Description

TC-5535 AP 5G mmWave Shield Box

The TC-5535 AP 5G mmWave Shield Box is designed to support accurate and repeatable millimeter wave and 5G testing in controlled RF environments. This 5G mmWave shield box operates across a wide frequency range from 0.1 GHz to 67 GHz, making it ideal for testing modern wireless devices that require high isolation and stable OTA performance.

From the start, the 5G mmWave shield box provides engineers with a reliable enclosure for evaluating small to medium-sized devices. Typical devices include 5G chipsets, cellphones, tablets, and laptops used in development, validation, and production testing.

Designed for 5G mmWave Testing

This 5G mmWave shield box is optimized specifically for millimeter wave applications. It delivers dependable RF shielding from 0.5 GHz to 50 GHz, which helps reduce outside interference during sensitive measurements. As a result, engineers achieve more consistent and repeatable test results.

The enclosure supports over-the-air (OTA) testing by maintaining a stable RF environment. Therefore, it plays a key role in 5G device development and performance verification.

Automated Operation and High-Volume Testing

The 5G mmWave shield box features a pneumatically controlled door that supports automated test workflows. This design improves test speed and reduces manual handling during high-volume operation.

Because production environments demand durability, the TC-5535 AP supports more than 100,000 test cycles. As a result, it performs reliably in both validation labs and manufacturing test lines.

In addition, engineers can control the shield box remotely using LAN or RS-232C connections. This capability allows seamless integration into automated test systems and remote monitoring setups.

Filtering, Connectivity, and Customization

The 5G mmWave shield box includes EMI filters on all data ports and power lines. These filters help block unwanted noise and protect signal integrity during testing.

A wide selection of filtered connectors is available, allowing customization based on specific test requirements. Optional RF switch configurations further expand system flexibility and test coverage.
