STE2200F2 RF Shield Test Enclosure (Forensics Edition)

The STE2200F2 is designed specifically for securing and isolating cell phones and other small communications devices on-site for transport to your lab for evaluation. The moment the device is secured into the STE2200F2 it is isolated from the carrier’s network and other RF signals preventing any incoming or outgoing communications, including GPS tracking information. An optional 12VDC filtered power input allows you to keep the device powered up using a standard vehicle power outlet. Filtered AC power interfaces are also available.

The STE2200F2 RF Shield Test Enclosure provides a secure, controlled RF-isolated environment for forensic and wireless device testing. As a result, investigators and engineers can block external RF interference while maintaining reliable and repeatable test conditions during sensitive examinations.

The enclosure builds on the proven STE2200 platform and delivers precision-machined construction with consistent shielding performance. However, the Forensics Edition adds features that support secure device isolation, evidence handling, and controlled testing workflows. Therefore, law enforcement agencies, digital forensics laboratories, and secure testing facilities rely on this enclosure for dependable RF isolation.

Secure RF Shield Enclosure for Forensic Applications

This RF shield enclosure uses heavy-duty aluminum panels to provide durability and long-term structural stability. In addition, woven Monel flexible gaskets seal every joint location and create a dependable RF-tight closure. As a result, the enclosure blocks external cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and other wireless signals during testing.

Oversized hinges and rugged latches apply uniform pressure around the enclosure perimeter. Consequently, the enclosure maintains a tight and repeatable seal every time users close it. Moreover, this mechanical consistency supports frequent use in demanding forensic environments.
